OUR REVIEW
Incipio has designed an excellent Kindle case in the Nylon Kaddy. For those looking for a solid, no frills, no nonsense Kindle protector, the Kaddy comes highly recommended.
The rip-stop nylon material is perfect for those who want a lightweight cover that also provides nice traction in your hands while holding it to read. Cleaning the cover is very easy. You can use mild soap and warm water to hand-wash the cover if necessary. Its muted grey tones and protective black band quietly exudes simple elegance.
The inner lining is well done. It is made of microsuede that gently protects your Kindle screen from scratches and pads against the jostling it will encounter during travel. Keeping the front cover open pleasantly gives the feeling that you are reading an actual book in your hands. The hard-spine cover can fold back against the back part for easy one-handed reading without having you fear that it might break the casing.
The Nylon Kaddy is all about security. The sturdy padding and framework design helps protect your Kindle in case of a fall. The elastic band firmly secures the case from opening inadvertently and works well, more so than other designs. The inner casing uses polycarbonate tabs that lets you easily slide the Kindle in and will hold it in place firmly. The tabs are well situated and do not interfere with any of the Kindle’s functions at all, which cannot be said for cases using corner straps.
The Kaddy does not come with inner pockets, which can be either a plus for those looking for a minimalist design or a minus for those who cannot have too many pockets at hand.
Summing it all up, Incipio’s Nylon Kaddy is a sleek and sturdy case that is well worth its asking price. It does exactly what it says in the box sans the frills associated with other cases in the market. The case design gets high marks for the full access the casing gives to the Kindle’s buttons and the pleasant feel the Kaddy gives when held for reading. For those looking for a case well worth its asking price, no one needs to look beyond the Incipio Nylon Kaddy.
